Kiahuna was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and had gone into disrepair with the previous owners. It has regained its spot on Kauai as the best golfing value due to the course updates and renovations. The shot values are tremendous with the numerous bunkers that frame tee shot landing area's and green complexes. The course is relatively short, but, the putting surfaces feature severe undulation and typically run very quick which balances out the equation. The downside to this facility is the lack of a quality driving range which could be a feature instead of a bug as it faces the ocean. Perhaps that'll be the next item renovated. This course is in great condition. Usually really windy on the south side of the island.
