First off, put your nice clubs back in the garage and grab that old beater set from college because chances are your best lie will be off the rocks at this course. While you may bring a putter, be sure to bring your wedge to the green with you as you may have to chip over natural sand traps that have developed on their poorly manicured greens. On another note, when you get to what I call Dead Man’s corner there are three tee boxes all hitting across each other to various holes, one of which is a par 3 where as you putt keep your head on a swivel as a poor golfer may shoot a hozel rocket right at you from the 9th tee box that requires a shot over the 5th hole’s green. Just be careful on this goat ranch which seems to combine golf with a weird Scottish version of paintball.
