Everything about the course was great except for the staff. Was late to our tee time due to traffic on the i10 tunnel thru mobile, and the guy behind the counter and the starter acted like they were doing us a favor for still letting us play golf. Other than that sour start to our day I would recommend this course.

All the greens are sandy and aerated. Bumpy, soft, and fast. Quite a challenge to putt with any consistency.

Without a doubt my favorite course around Mobile, AL. The quality of the course is excellent, fairways are plush, as is the "rough" (the trend on other courses around here seems to be decent fairways, with the rough looking no better than my backyard). Greens are nearly perfect, and are consistent throughout the course. The quality is second only to Magnolia Grove within mobile, where you will spend twice as much money.

The only feature this course lacks is water, of which it only has two small ponds on the back 9. If you are like me, that's a good thing for the sake of finding your golf ball.

Be sure to call ahead; many times I have just "shown up" since they do not require tee times on weekdays, only to find there is a high school tournament etc., which seems to happen a lot there.
